I like how this feels almost spontaneous, although it has an element of a posed feel to it as well, if that makes sense. The depth of field is pretty awesome, especially with the slight bokeh in the background and how it feels like a supernova has just occurred... having said that, I do find it a bit distracting. I feel that a vignette would be better to centre our focus, but that could just be me.
The expression is an intriguing one, and I like how you've framed the capture as well. It's tight, but not too tight, and the way you've placed them on the left side creates a sense of balance and composition of things.
Part of me wishes that the lighting was better, but I don't think it's that bad. Quality could be improved though, perhaps.
